Makeup Tutorial with L.A. Colors Products

Jazmin White

When it comes to a look, Roses has you covered! Not only in terms of clothing and accessories, but makeup also! In this blog post, we will be sharing with you a DIY on eyebrow makeup using our LA Color makeup products!

Here is what you will need:

  1. LA Color Concealer

  2. Eyebrow Brush

  3. Eyebrow pencil or Pomade

  4. Eyebrow Spooly

When purchasing your concealer, make sure you are picking out one that is two shades lighter than your complexion, to give your eyebrows a "highlighted" effect. When purchasing your eyebrow pencil or pomade, make sure you are purchasing a shade that matches your eyebrow color.

Once you have your products, you can begin the following steps to beautifying your brows!

Step 1: Brush your eyebrows. It is important to brush your eyebrow hairs to make it easier to use your eyebrow pencil or pomade. If needed, use tweezers to clean your brows up even more for a cleaner look.

Step 2: Use your eyebrow pomade or pencil to line out your brows. Gently outline the perimeter of your brows, making sure they are not too dark. Once the outline of the perimeter is done, gently fill in your brows with the pomade or pencil.

Step 3: Blend blend blend! Once you have filled in your brows, you want to take your eyebrow brush and blend the color in with your eyebrows. This should be done especially done in the front of your brows, creating an Ombre effect onto them.

Step 4: Use your concealer to outline and clean up your brow. Place the concealer on to your eyebrow brush and gently outline the perimeter

Step 5: Blend blend blend! Take your eyebrow brush and blend the concealer down for the bottom of your brow, and up at the top of your brow. Keep blending until it blends in with the skin completely. To eliminate a "boxy" brow, go to the top corner of your brow and brush up with your eyebrow pencil, giving your brow a more blended, natural look.

Once you have completed these steps, you have successfully figured out the keys to a perfect brow. Remember, practice makes perfect! If you don't get it on the first try, keep going! Eventually you'll be a brow expert.
